Together For StudentsMontgomery Board of Education

Montgomery Township · November 3, 2026

Three neighbors.
Three seats.
One question.

Eric Seguin, Nick Barot, and Chris Xu are running together for the Montgomery Township Board of Education. Montgomery has built an exceptional standard of education. We're running to protect it — and to hold every decision to one test: does this improve outcomes for our students?

In the voting booth

You get three votes. Use all three.

Board of Education races are decided by a few hundred ballots, and the most common mistake is filling in only one oval. Voting for all three of us is what puts a working majority behind these priorities. Here's exactly what to look for.

Our priorities

Strategic stewardship, not caretaking

A Board of Education does not create excellence on its own. It works with administrators, teachers, parents, and students to unlock a community's full potential. We're running to make sure the district prepares for the challenges ahead rather than resting on its current laurels.

Academic excellence

Hold programs and policies to the outcomes they produce for students, and keep Montgomery's academic standard among the strongest in New Jersey.

Student well-being

A safe, supportive, and engaging environment that supports personal growth alongside achievement — and equal opportunity to succeed, whatever a student's starting point.

Responsible stewardship

Respect for the taxpayer investment behind every line of the budget, with clear reasoning for how it is spent.

Transparency and engagement

Decisions explained in the open, with genuine consultation of families and educators before the vote rather than after it.

Innovation and future readiness

Curriculum, technology, and programs evaluated on evidence and adopted with purpose, so Montgomery graduates stay competitive.

President & CEO, Solix Inc.

Our family has proudly called Montgomery Township home since June 2018. My greatest accomplishments are being a husband to my wife, Molly, and a father to our three children — Giuliana, a Montgomery High School graduate now at Syracuse; Noah, entering 8th grade at UMS; and Gia, entering 7th.

Since 2019 I have coached flag football, baseball, and softball, and I've served six years on the Montgomery Baseball & Softball League Board of Directors, the last four as President. Professionally I've led in both the public and private sectors, including as Chief of Economic Policy at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

I'm running because I'm committed to preparing our students for future success — building on Montgomery's solid foundation while respecting the values and financial investment of our entire community.

  • BA Economics & International Finance, Rutgers
  • BA Accounting, Saint Leo University
  • MBA Finance, College of William & Mary
  • Executive education, Harvard Business School

HR Technology & People Analytics Leader

I'm running because I believe in student excellence, and in ensuring that every Board decision keeps students' interests first and foremost.

As a Montgomery resident, parent, and HOA President representing a community of more than 140 homes, I regularly hear from families and students about what is working well in our schools and where there are opportunities to do even better. These conversations have reinforced my belief that strong schools are built through partnership, transparency, and a relentless focus on student success.

Montgomery's schools have a tradition of excellence. I want every policy, program, and decision guided by a simple question: how does this improve outcomes for our students?

  • MBA in Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • HOA President, 140+ homes
  • Montgomery parent

My wife and I are raising two children in Montgomery Township Public Schools — one in ninth grade and one in sixth.

I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry and an MBA, with more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry: five in drug discovery and over ten leading data science and analytics. My career has focused on solving complex problems, making data-driven decisions, and leading cross-functional teams.

I've served ten years on the Board of Trustees of my homeowners association, helping oversee Montgomery's largest residential community, and previously on the board of Huaxia Chinese School at Montgomery. I'm running because every child deserves an excellent education and the opportunity to succeed.
